Welcome!
Welcome to the first version of FullHouse Software's newsletter.  Naturally, there will be a bit of information about IPM, some company news and events, and as much as is fit to print from and about IPM Users. We're going to try to make this a quarterly publication, if we have enough to pass along to make it worth while (Hint: there will definitely be a second number once IPM 2007 is released!)

Realty Automation Becomes
FullHouse Software, Inc.

As of September 1, 2006, Realty Automation changed names and location to FullHouse Software, Inc., in Orlando, Florida.  Robert Maxwell, founder and President of Realty Automation stepped down from daily operations and William Bennett assumed the presidency.

Bill's focus is on building a foundation for the future of IPM while serving current customers.  For more about Bill, look here.  Bob remains a valued mentor, advisor and accounting/tech support "guru".

Telephone Issues - Finally Resolved!
After two months of spotty service and half-solutions, we bit the bullet and changed carriers. As of January 2, 407-919-9690 and 800-653-8428 actually ring in our office, and messages left actually are recorded. We look forward to hearing from you!

Investment Property Manager 2007 Enters Beta Testing
Perhaps our greatest success since September has been the response we've received from our users about what they wanted as enhancements for Investment Property Manager 2007.  The flood of suggestions has kept us very busy since then.

Unfortunately, we have had to pick and choose. We'd like to add every bell and whistle everyone wants, but we can't do it all at once, or in one version.  We've chosen from the most urgent, most obvious and the ones that will give our users the biggest boost.  But if you don't see your enhancement in 2007, that doesn't mean we're ignoring you. What we don't integrate into IPM 2007, we will consider as specifications for the major version release in 2008.

Canadian Date Format
The Canadian Payments Association
has adopted new date formats for cheques.  IPM 2007 meets
these standards.

Key enhancements  include: email support, printing to PDFs and a plethora of new fields for email address, faxes, additional address information, insurance, printable check memos and more. There have also been more than a few enhancements to the 'look and feel' of the application.  We've made screens more consistent, buttons in the same places throughout, and updated it from top to bottom.

Getting a new version of software ready for general release involves numerous steps of testing and documentation.  It starts with unit testing as features are added, and proceeds through Alpha (in-house) testing, and finally to Beta Testing. This can take a couple of months, or years (Anyone using Windows Vista?).  We're hoping for the former, and expect a Q1 2007 release. If you'd like to participate in our Beta Testing program or suggest an enhancement, email technical.support@fullhousesoftware.com
